| | | | Nikki first became interested in banjo when her sister, Mallory, started taking guitar lessons. She asked for a banjo for her 9th birthday, and not only did she get her banjo, but she started taking lessons. It became apparent right away that Nikki had a knack for banjo. It wasn't long before Nikki and her sister started singing and playing together. In fact, Nikki and Mallory were the "original" Pickin' Chicks!
Nikki prefers to sing harmony with The Pickin' Chicks, but you'll still hear an occasional lead from her. She mainly plays banjo with the group, but you'll also see her play bass and the guitar. Her original song, "Nikki's Tune," can be heard on the Pickin' Chicks' second CD "Small Town Girls."

Nikki's hobbies include playing banjo, basketball, video games, fishing, watching movies and listening to music.
